Setting Mariadb on Raspberry Pi

Install

sudo apt-get install mariadb-server-10.1

Default Raspberry Pi 3 Mariadb password

sudo mysql -u root -p -h localhost

Management Services, 2 ways

  • sudo systemctl start|enable|status mariadb
  • service mysql status

Secure Configuration

sudo mysql_secure_installation
